Earlier this week, the National Enquirer reported that Tiger Woods had an extramarital affair with a 34-year-old woman named Rachel Uchitel (photos). During the current recession, one of the main areas hit hardest have been lavish expenditures by large organizations - particularly, oh, athletic departments at major universities. They’ve been inured, however, to their current standards of luxury; familiarity and routine will do that. So cutbacks that you or I might take for granted, instead come as shocks to the system of a typical football coach.

John Glenn-Westland High had never beaten Plymouth in the history of the two schools, but finally had a chance to do so with a 33-yard field goal attempt on the last play of their homecoming game last week.
